Microsoft SharePoint
There are two versions of SharePoint. One is called SharePoint Services which comes with Windows Server 2003 & is useful in many ways for online collaboration. The latest version number is 3.0. The more robust, costly version is very powerful as a web content management system, a document storage library, a web applications builder and so much more. It includes records management features that have been certified for use by the United States DOD (Dept. of Defense). Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 replaces Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003. The differences between 2003 and 2007 versions are substantial.
